Nourishment for your mind and body

An immersive weekend of Pilates and guided relaxations, with country walks, swimming, and optional massages, all set in the beautiful Norfolk countryside.

Arrival on Friday from 4pm. Departures Sunday at 12pm.

Included: all food, drink, Pilates classes, relaxation and breathwork sessions, accommodation, outdoor swimming pool, wild swimming lake with row boats and paddle boards, countryside walk and goody bag.

 

Massages available over the weekend at an additional cost.

A non refundable deposit of £250, with the remainder due 10 weeks before the retreat. If full payment is not received by the due date I reserve the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.

Nestled in the beautiful Norfolk countryside, only 5 minutes drive from the popular market town of Swatham. Within 90 minutes of London. 

 

You’re invited to...breathe, relax and enjoy. Stretch in the gardens, row in the lake, take an uplifting walk around the countryside, listen to the birdsong...or just curl up in the lounge with a book. 

​

​You will be feasting on delicious food with many of the ingredients grown on site in the Kitchen Garden.

​

The Kitchen Garden uses biodynamic principles, working in harmony with nature and produces fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs all year round. The menus are supplemented with gorgeous local and artisanal Norfolk produce, bringing out the very best of Norfolk food. 

​

All food is included in the cost.

Pilates, Relaxation and Breathwork sessions
 

Having taught Pilates for 20 years, Sonia brings her unique combination of classical and dynamic Pilates to her classes. Utilising her training in 3 different pilates schools, as well as specialist training in a plethora of areas, the weekend will include energising, strengthening and mobilising sessions to restore and revitalise your body. Adaptations are offered throughout the classes.

​

The weekend will also include breathwork and guided relaxation sessions, allowing your body and mind to relax and prepare you for a restful night's sleep in the countryside.

Country Walks, Swimming, Rowing, Paddle Boarding and Siteseeing

Sonia will be leading a walk through the beautiful 21 acre estate. Every type of tree and shrub is indigenous to the UK and the ecology of the floating water meadows has earned its title as a ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest’, with the restoration of a rare chalk stream and surrounding wildlands creating an active habitat for biodiversity.

​

There will also be plenty of free time for you to explore on your own, whether to walk the countryside, swim in the outdoor heated pool, wild swim row or paddle board on the lake or visit the beautiful nearby towns, villages or seaside.

​

During the retreat there will be plenty of downtime to allow you to relax. If you would like to unwind with a therapeutic massage this can be booked in advance at an additional cost.

Driving

 

You will arrive accurately at the location by searching PE32 2QN in your sat nav, or by using our what3words location brass.static.liberated.  The turning for West Lexham is clearly sign-posted on the A1065. You will then follow a single lane country road and follow the road to the left, through the hamlet of West Lexham. You will pass the village sign on your left, and you will see a flint wall to your right and the entrance is the next right..

Nearest station is Downham Market, with direct trains from London Kings Cross (1hr25) and Cambridge (40m). It is recommended to pre-booking your taxi from Downham Market Station (25 mins). Please let me know if you would like to organise to share a taxi with a fellow participant.
